André Boccato

Born in São Paulo in an Italian family, André Boccato (53) started as a photographer and journalist. After a long career of almost 15 years working in these fields, he sensibly changed his tastes and dreams. Nowadays he is in charge of a private award-winner publishing house, Boccato Editores.

André Boccato is a member of Federazione Italiana Cuochi-Delegazione in Brazil and, as an experimental Chef, he develops new products and recipes for the Brazilian food industry players like the Pão de Açúcar Group (Casino-France) and Bertin (meat exporter).

He is an author and published three books “Flavorful Recipes with Meat”, “Diet with Yogurt” and “Eating well and healthful”.

As a specialized cook publisher he is responsible for about 40 cook books, with world prizes as the “World Best Book in Creative Category” for The Gourmand Awards Cookbook.

He created and supervised the Bocatelli Pasta, a cook grief in the sector.

He contributes to several international events such as The Year of Brazil and Sial in France, The World Cup - Kenpinski Hotel in Berlin, The Fashion Salon- Apex in Milan and the Gulf Food Fair in Dubai.
